TKS provides a Community Information Channel (CIC) for the express use of your local military community.

The CIC is normally compiled under the direction of your local MWR and Public Affairs Offices, and can keep you informed of critical announcements (such as bad weather closings) and provides current information on what's going on in your community.

In some communities it is possible to air locally produced video programming from your DoDDS school, local MWR sporting events, university video courses, German-language courses or Chapel programs that normally could not be shown on AFRTS channels.

We encourage military communities to make use of this valuable asset made possible by TKS. Your ideas or contributions for the CIC should be discussed directly with your local Public Affairs or MWR offices.
