Q: Is it really €0.00 per minute to call my “home country”? What's the catch?
A: There’s no catch, call all you want to your selected “home country” for 0 cent per minute 24/7 with Surf'n'Talk.
The flat rate is for voice calls, not for faxes or data connections, and applies to calls made to fixed networks (landlines). A surcharge does apply to calls to mobile phone networks with the exception of the U.S.A. where cell phone calls are charged as a “standard” phone connection.
Q: How long is the contract and what happens if I have to cancel early?
A: With Surf‘n’Talk there’s no minimum contract duration. Keep your service as long as you like, cancel at your convenience - no “early cancellation” fees or charges apply.
Q: Where is Surf'n'Talk available?
A: Surf'n'Talk is available Germany wide, and also at Caserme Ederle in USAG Vicenza.
TIP: On select U.S. military installations, Surf‘n’Talk is also available over TKS’s high-speed cable TV network.
Q: What hardware do I need?
A: You’ll need a preconfigured modem-router supplied by TKS and a standard analog telephone. To start surfing the web and making calls, all you need to do is connect your computer and telephone - that's it! The hardware is programmed to automatically initialize your service, wireless devices are also available.
Q: Can I get a second telephone line and number?
A: Yes, a second telephone line with its own separate number can be requested at any time.
