Q: Is it really € 0.00 per minute to call the U.S.A., what's the catch?
A: Yes, you can call the US, UK, Australia, Ireland - a total of 25 countries in all - for 0 cent per minute 24/7 with TKSSurf'n'Talk.
The only things that you should be aware of is that the flat rate is for voice calls, not for faxes or data connections, and is for calls to fixed networks only (landlines). A surcharge does apply to calls made to mobile phone networks with the exception of the U.S.A. where cell phone calls are charged as “standard” phone connections.
Q: What hardware is included, what do I need to buy?
A: With TKSSurf'n'Talk, we set you up with everything that you'll need to get online, including a DSL modem, splitter, plus a TKS e-mail and Internet account. The only thing you'll need is a telephone; your local TKSShop has an excellent selection of standard and cordless phones.
Q: Is TKS Surf'n'Talk available everywhere?
A: TKSSurf 'n'Talk is available Germany wide, wherever DSL is feasible. Prior to activation, the line at your address is first tested. The overall bandwidth in addition to all of the details pertaining to your order is then confirmed in writing.
Q: What happens if there is just no DSL where I live?
A: In the rare case that DSL is technically not feasible at your address, TKS will first notify you in writing of the available options. A standard TKSSnap! telephone connection for example is always possible.
