For power users, the T-Mobile Max plans feature a Germany-wide 0 Cent a minute flat rate for phone calls and SMS to T-Mobile Deutschland and to the German fixed telephone network.

T-Mobile contract plans are normally available with a 24-month contract and do require that you provide some personal documentation at the time of sign-up.

Required for T-Mobile contract service:

  • Military I.D. card
  • Military orders
    Orders must validate your residency status for a period of at least 24 months; civilians may provide an employment contract instead.
  • German banking number
    Monthly invoices are paid via automated bank transfer; therefore a account with a compatible German bank routing number (BLZ) is required.
  • Physical address
    A German mailing address including the street name, house number, postal code and city must be provided in order to receive monthly statements.
  • Credit card
    Needed only for a basic credit check, no fees are charged to the card.
