Booking easyMobile roaming options using the standard Google / Android Messaging App requires special handling as the app always automatically adds the country code in front of the dialed number.
To add a roaming option a text message needs to be sent to the speed dialing code 70127.
If a country code is automatically added in front of the speed dialing code it is no longer valid and the message will not be sent.
Booking easyMobile roaming options is still possible when taking these two easy steps:
Samsung Android phones:
- The Samsung Messaging App does not add the country code.
Therefore, this app can be activated as standard app.
Change the Standard Google / Android Messaging App to "Samsung Messages" in your general phone settings --> Apps --> Messages.
After navigating to "messages" within the apps section of your phone you can select which app is supposed to be used for messages.
Unfortunately, the Google Messaging App and the Samsung Messaging App have the same name, if the operating system is set to English.
After the standard messaging service has been changed open the new app and sent a completely new message with the booking code of the respective Roaming option to “70127”.
Other Android phones:
Open the telephone app on your phone --> click on the 3 points on the top right side --> Select “settings” --> “Assisted dialing” --> deactivate “assistet dial”.
After the assisted dialing has been deactived, open your messaging app and sent a completely new message with the booking code of the respective roaming option to “70127”.
